St. Andrew’s Nursery offers exceptionally high standards of childcare and Education for children aged from

12 months to 5 years. 

Nursery is open term time from 08:00 to 16:30

St Andrew's Nursery, Church Lane, was opened in 1989 by Maureen Hogan and Judy Macauley, in response to popular demand. The Nursery has grown in numbers and success since then. We attribute this success to our team of dedicated and professional staff, who all have a thorough understanding of what is meant by good quality childcare, and are committed to the development of each Child.

We believe that our nurseries are a place where each child makes a contribution and feels valued.

Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly, caring environment designed to promote happy, confident, fulfilled children, with the knowledge that they will be giving the very best opportunities, allowing them to develop to their full potential. We believe in creating a strong partnership with Parents/ Carers.

Our Ethos is based on the belief that children are foremost their own educators-natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination. We encourage good behaviour, e.g. sharing, kindness, dealing with conflict in a non-aggressive way.
